DESCRIPTION

EUPEPTIN KIDS POWDER 65 GR. This food supplement produced by Almirall laboratories contains pepsin, known for its effectiveness in digesting milk proteins and other foods, and also sodium and magnesium salts, which promote normal and painless bowel movements.  The combination of these elements relieves constipation and colic in infants and young children. Eupeptin kids also contains lactose and saccharose, a factor that should be taken into account when administering this product to children with glucose or galactose absorption problems, galactosemia or lactase deficiency or to children with hereditary fructose intolerance, saccharose-isomaltase deficiency and diabetes.

POSOLOGY:

Children from 1 day to 18 months
Administer 0.25 g per kg of weight per day, divided into 1 or 2 doses according to individual needs. This corresponds to the following doses:

• Weight from 3 kg to 6 kg, administer 1 level teaspoon in a single dose with food.
• Weight over 6 kg up to 8 kg, administer 1 and a half level teaspoons in a single dose with food.
• Weight over 8 kg up to 10 kg, administer 2 level teaspoons divided into two doses.
• Weight over 10 kg up to 12 kg, administer 2 and a half level teaspoons divided into two doses.
• Weight from 12 kg, administer 3 level teaspoons divided into two doses.

Children over 18 months and up to 2 years
Administer 0.5 g per kg of weight per day divided into 2 doses. This corresponds to the following doses:

• Weight from 10 kg to 12 kg, administer 5 level teaspoons divided into two doses.
• Weight over 12 kg up to 15 kg, administer 6 level teaspoons divided into two doses.
• Weight from 15 kg, administer 7 level teaspoons divided into two doses.

Children over 2 years old
Administer 7 level teaspoons divided into 2 doses.

Do not exceed the maximum dose of 7 g per day (7 teaspoons per day).
